8th – 12th Grade
Description: This high school course combines reading classic literature with watching the movies based on those books. Some additional books and movies may be added if the class is in favor of that. Students may use audible and/or hard copy versions of the books. We will, at times, watch movie clips in class, but the majority of the movies will need to be viewed at home. Students should come to class prepared to compare, contrast, and discuss their ideas about observations from that week. There will be some writing assignments and creative hands-on assignments completed in class and for homework. This is an exciting class and a wonderful way to enjoy literature and film while expanding your knowledge.

Participants must be entering grades 8 to 12.

Maximum: 15
